Bioinformatician, Centre for Cancer Biology, SA Pathology

We are seeking a bioinformatician to join the bioinformatics group of the Centre for Cancer Biology at SA Pathology.  This position, available for two years in the first instance, will be concerned with the analysis of next-generation sequencing data generated within the Gene Regulation Laboratory of the Centre for Cancer Biology, headed by Prof. Greg Goodall. Specific interests of the group include mechanisms and functions of transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, especially in relation to epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and in cancer metastasis, and especially in regard to microRNAs (see for further information).

Further details about the positions may be sought from Dr. Andreas Schreiber ([email protected]) or Prof. Greg Goodall ([email protected]).
