Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:30PM The successful candidate will fill the newly created role of Biomedical Animator, with the goal to produce world-class visualisations showcasing biomedical breakthroughs made at CSIRO. The successful applicant will be required to liaise closely with CSIRO biomedical researchers, and to visually communicate complex details about their research through the use of animation software, such as Maya. Technical guidance and support in creating these animations will come from a team of animators working at several other institutes in Australia, coordinated by the internationally renowned scientific animator Drew Berry from The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne.
