VBC | Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium

 The Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium conducts research in Bioinformatics and assists the performance of biological research within Australia by both academic and industrial users. It plays an important role in developing Australia’s skill base in Bioinformatics through training postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Sited within existing biomedical research facilities, the Consortium brings together scientists engaged in “wet lab” research with computer scientists and statisticians. They share their diverse expertise and knowledge to advance research across a range of fields.
