Salary: $66,809 – $90,657 p.a. (Level A) (*PhD entry Level A.6 $84,458 p.a.) or $95,434 – $113,323 p.a. (Level B) plus 9.5% superannuation

The objective of MA is to provide state-of-the-art metabolomics services to Australian researchers (from academia, industry and Government) with supporting computational and data storage capacity. This position will be based at the Bio21 Institute node of MA.
The Bioinformatician is an Academic Specialist involved in delivering analytical metabolomics services to MA clients. You will be actively involved in fostering partnerships with external scientists and organisations, encouraging collaborative research projects requiring specialist expertise, and performing data processing and analytical services. You will be expected to interact closely with MA analytical and bioinformatics teams to develop and apply bioinformatics tools and metabolomics methodology. You will also provide specialised support in relation to training of MA clients.
