Service Bioinformatician - ANU Canberra

The John Curtin School of Medical Research is seeking a skilled bioinformatician with genomics, transcriptomics and high-performance computing experience to work with the ANU Bioinformatics Consultancy (ABC). The ABC is a fee-for-service bioinformatics group tasked with providing analyses from established pipelines; custom coding; teaching and consultancy, on projects from medical, agricultural, conservation and environmental research areas.
The successful applicant will be required to extensively interact with researchers at ANU, CSIRO and other Australian and international institutions to identify, evaluate and implement computational techniques that will enhance the research of the ABC and its clients.
Term: Fixed term, 2 year contract
