Two highly a motivated individuals are sought for the ongoing development of a bioinformatics core team at the School of Animal and Veterinary Science. The mission of the team is to provide state of the art bioinformatics capability, to develop novel bioinformatics methodology and deliver high impact basic and applied science in the fields of agriculture, biomedicine and environmental science.
The successful applicants will be based at the University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus and will work in close collaboration with the Bioinformatics Hub located in the School of Biological Sciences at the North Terrace Campus.
The research leader will be recruited at Research Level C. The successful applicant will have long experience applying suitable solutions to a wide a range of bioinformatics and analysis problems. This person will have demonstrated the ability to lead and inspire a team, win research funding, and will have the drive and vision to create a highly competitive bioinformatics unit in the JS Davies Center within the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences.
