The Monash University, Department of Clinical Haematology at the Alfred Hospital in central Melbourne, Australia is seeking to recruit a senior postdoctoral fellow/junior principal investigator to its research division - the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases (ACBD).
The Centre has major research strengths in Haematopoietic and Leukaemia Stem Cell Biology with existing Stem Cell Research and Mammalian Functional Genomics laboratories, and is looking to further enhance these or complementary interests. The primary objective of the ACBD is to integrate basic biomedical research with clinical-based experiments, which will ultimately facilitate the translation of research into clinical practice.
As the successful candidate, you will be highly motivated with a MD and/or PhD in the health sciences and have a proven track record of high quality publications that will ensure a competitive edge to attract independent funding. You will have either or all of strong molecular biology, biochemistry or bioinformatics skill sets.
