Bioinformatician - Genomic Biology Laboratory

The Genomic Biology lab is part of the Genetics and Computational Biology Division at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Our focus is on applying genomics to better enable medical research, with a particular interest in transcriptional complexity.

This position is an exciting opportunity to lead and publish biology-based research projects aimed at accelerating the implementation of precision medicine for the treatment of cancer. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Genome Informatics group setting up standardized analytical workflows for clinical translation of these results, and will also be responsible for providing bioinformatics support and training to our collaborators within the Institute.
