My client is a leading global developer and manufacturer of Life Sciences instruments and services for the advancement of genetic research. They are in search for a Technical Support Scientist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, your main responsibilities will be to provide technical direction and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of the company's products. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and questions, provide technical advice and guidance in relation to sequencing experiments and log and manage all issues in the database.
To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate will have at least a Bachelors degree and hands on lab experience in molecular biology, genetics or bioinformatics. You must have experience using, developing or troubleshooting a wide range of molecular biology protocols such as PCR, sequencing, genotyping or related procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
