We especially invite applications in the areas of genome medicine and/or computational systems biology with a focus on cancer, obesity and diabetes, or infection and immunity. A joint appointment with the UQ Centre for Clinical Research and/or a Brisbane-area research hospital is possible.

Selection criteria

• A visionary research program in genomics and/or computational biology that can be

   well-supported by grant and fellowship funding;

• A growing national and international profile in the relevant research field; and

• Interest and potential to collaborate both internally and externally.

The person

We invite applications from established independent researchers, or those at a transitional career stage, who meet the selection criteria. Preference may be given to applicants with no more than 10 years’ postdoctoral experience. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.
