Postdoctoral Fellow - Bioinformatics, Sydney

Dr Alex Swarbrick is looking for a postdoctoral fellow with strength in bioinformatics from February 2013, for a new project studying microRNAs in cancer. The project will allow the fellow to lead a research project based primarily on informatic analysis, integrating multiple genome-wide datasets and developing new analytical tools.

The position is based at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre, a new joint initiative of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and St Vincents Hospital.  The Kinghorn is rapidly developing expertise and large capacity in cancer genomics and informatics and will provide a supportive and exciting environment for the fellow.

Contact Alex Swarbrick for more information.
