Research Fellow - Bacterial Pathogen Genomics - Melbourne

A research fellow position is available in Kat Holt's group at the University of Melbourne.  Be part of a dynamic young team tackling infectious disease through bacterial population genomics, in collaboration with international and local research groups.

This bioinformatics-based position is suitable for an individual with training in a relevant area of biology (molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry) and a relevant quantitative discipline (statistics, computing or mathematics). Experience with sequence analysis, comparative genomics and phylogenetics would be ideal.

This is intended as a postdoc position, however applicants with a highly relevant Masters qualification will also be considered.
