Bioinformatician/Data Analyst for Proteomics Research - University of Dundee

The bioinformatician/data analyst will participate in the research of the MRC PPU mass spectrometry group and add to the growing team of programmers and bioinformaticians within the data analysis group lead by Prof. Geoff Barton supporting state-of-the- art proteome research. The candidate will apply software and computational methods for the analysis and interpretation of quantitative protein mass spectrometry data using MaxQuant, Mascot and the in-house created pipeline PepTracker. If required, we will provide training and support to attend training courses to raise the candidate’s knowledge.
