2015 Winter School in Mathematical and Computational Biology

Core themes of the 12th Winter School in Mathematical and Computational Biology are
- Next generation sequencing & bioinformatics
- Biological inference from sequence data
- Big data, statistics and bio-applications
- K-mers: the engine of bioinformatics
Over 35 international and national leaders in the field will presenting at the Winter School to be held 6 to 10 July 2015 in Brisbane.

A special Genomic Virtual Laboratory training workshop (limited places) will be run during the Winter School on the afternoon of Wednesday 8 July. This year's Winter School also features a Software Carpentry Bootcamp (limited places) hosted by Brisbane Software Carpentry prior to the commencement of the Winter School.
