Institute for Molecular Bioscience

IMB researchers investigate the basis of human development at the genetic, molecular, cellular and organ levels. By understanding the development process and aspects that go awry in complex diseases, the IMB aims to develop therapies and technologies to prevent or repair diseases and create new industries in biology and information technology.
IMB scientists are working in the areas of genomics and computational biology; molecular genetics and development; molecular cell biology; and chemical and structural biology.
IMB's integrated research divisions comprise more than 30 research groups working at the forefront of mammalian biology and chemistry.
